Capstone utilizes property near the Blue Ridge Parkway on the NC/VA state line for the purpose of creating a “Space Away from the Ordinary”—a retreat and outdoor adventure haven where challenge meets purpose. Just 2 hours north of Charlotte, this 5-acre mountainside property, surrounded by woods and farmland, includes a cozy cabin for overnight stays. It provides a peaceful environment for individuals and small groups to grow spiritually, personally, and relationally.

Through climbing, team initiatives, hiking, fishing, and paddling, guests step beyond comfort zones, build teamwork, and deepen relationships—all while having fun. Every adventure and retreat experience is designed to inspire trust, perseverance, and meaningful connection—with God and with others.

Capstone hosts year-round retreats for youth groups, men’s and women’s groups, families, church teams, and corporate leaders. Whether the goal is spiritual renewal, team building, intentional fellowship, or a restorative getaway, the property provides a safe and inspiring space where guests leave grounded, refreshed, and equipped for life beyond the retreat.
